The Birth of Moses
Introduction
Many years had passed since the death of Joseph. New kings were crowned in Egypt, who had no appreciation for how Joseph had saved their country during a great famine. The birth of Moses would mark the beginning of God’s plan to free his people from 400 years of Egyptian slavery (Exodus 2:1-25).

There are three important points in the story about Moses. Firstly, the birth of Moses would mark the beginning of God’s plan to free His people. At that time, the Hebrew people became so numerous in Egypt that Pharaoh began to fear them. He believed if an enemy attacked, the Hebrews might ally themselves with that enemy and conquer Egypt. To prevent that, Pharaoh ordered that all newborn Hebrew boys must be killed by the midwives to keep them from growing up and becoming soldiers. Impossible Moses could have survived the death threat because Moses or the parents of Moses is not Egyptian but Hebrew. After three months his mother hides him from the Egyptian killer and his mother places him in a basket along the side of the river. The Egyptian king’s daughter is near the river and sees the box and tries to take it because she heard crying from a baby, and she is very grateful can find the baby, Moses. God had a plan for His people and that is why Moses was saved. Secondly, when Moses was grown, he was aware of who he was. Moses saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his people it means one of his brothers and he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. Moses is afraid and then he flees to Midian. Thirdly, God sent Moses because God cares for His people. At that time, the king of Egypt who sought to put Moses to death had died. Day after day, the slavery Jews experienced continued and seems to have gotten even worse. They complain to God and God heard them and sent Moses to help so that they were saved from slavery.
Conclusion
The lesson from Moses’s story helps the reader to understand how much God loves humans, in every situation in life, whatever happens, still remember that God will make a way to help His people because God has a perfect plan. When we are in pain, God wants us to run to Him. We need to talk with God in prayer as Hebrew when they are in pain because God is always hearing and answering according to His time. In conclusion, God cares about His people, and He will make a way for us when we are in trouble. He died to free us from sin, He wants the best for us, He loves us forever.
