Introduction
Obedience to the Lord and all the rights should be based on love. In this essay, we will learn the importance of obedience because obedience to God is our foremost interest. Obedience is the key to a successful life. Obedience is a result of loving God.
Content
Firstly, obedience to God is our foremost interest. “In that, I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it” (Deuteronomy 30:16). God knows who we are and what is best for us, so we just must trust and obey Him. God is the way, the truth, and the life, so if we want to live, we must have Christ so that we may have life. Let us obey our God based on love because it is our foremost interest in life.
Secondly, Obedience is the key to a successful life. Like Samuel in his life, he succeeded because he was willing to give himself to obey God by living according to God's statutes. When we want to be successful in life, the first step that must be taken is to obey something that is good and right, God's Word is the truth. It's in the Bible, don't forget to speak this law, but meditate on it day and night so that you act carefully according to all that is written in it, because then your journey will be successful, and you will be lucky or successful (Joshua 1:8). If we want to succeed, obey our God.
Thirdly, obedience is a result of loving God. Obedience should be based on our love for God because God already loves us. The Bible states that, if you love Me, you will keep My commandments (John 14:15). God makes us see and experience His love, and because He has “loved us first,” love can also develop as a response in us through our obedience to Him. If we love our God, we will obey Him with all our hearts.
POV
In my opinion, to obey something that is right is certainly very difficult when using our own strength. We need God who with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will be able to obey, and our obedience should only be based on love for God because God first loved us. In earnest obedience, surely produces joy and peace, and our lives are blessed, we become blessings, many souls are won for God through our lives. Let us give ourselves to cooperate with God every day as Samuel.
Conclusion
Obedience to God and all that is right should be based on love. Let us obey our God based on love because it is our foremost interest in life. If we want to succeed, obey our God. If we love our God, we will obey Him with all our hearts. As we can see how Samuel is successful in his life because he always listens and obeys God's calling.
